I am a 12-year self-taught-freelance Makeup Artist based in Birmingham, Alabama where I specialize in all sectors of the beauty industry. My passion for makeup started as a child playing in my mother’s Fashion Fair makeup and spending my Saturday mornings at my Grandmother’s Beauty Salon watching her transform women into a work of art. As I got older I lost my passion for beauty and decided to pursue my dreams of law and political science. In 2013, I was involved in an abusive relationship where I had to learn how to cover my bruises and at this moment my Gift and Purpose were being birthed. I decided to enhance my skills in 2014 and 2019 under the mentorship of celebrity makeup artist Nachera Brown owner of The Ahmni Makeup Academy, and celebrity Makeup Artist Alexander Butler where I learned the key foundations of perfecting a face. Throughout the years, I have gained experience in perfecting hundreds of faces, all ethnicity, and skin types, blending techniques, products, and natural to-glam applications that cater to the beauty of every woman. My work has been featured in Voyage ATL magazine as “Rising Stars” which has allowed me to pay it forward to speak, mentor and educate women on perfecting their faces. My love for makeup, artistry, and the beauty of expression has inspired me to start my own cosmetic line GLAAM Cosmetics, LLC. This makeup line is created for everyday women who are on the go. Makeup is my Ministry.
